Apostle V. V Hlongwana: profile

Apostle Voster V. Hlongwana was born on 17 August 1966. He is the third born son in a family of 7 males. He grew up in a poor family supported by his father who was a miner. He had to learn to cook to support his mother.

He had his first pair of shoes when he was doing grade 11 (STD 9). He got a study award at that grade. When he passed grade 12, he stayed home for 3 years due to lack of funds to pursue his studies. He worked as a civil servant and registered for distant learning through his first salary. The B.A degree and Higher Education Diploma he acquired was through the University Of South Africa (UNISA). His attempts to study further was interrupted by his calling.

Three days into his salvation while praying the hand of God came upon him. This is what he had to say, "I cannot forget that faithful night. I was asleep and I heard a voice calling my name. I woke up looking through the window to check who was talking. Seeing none, I decided to sleep on my back peeping through my eyes. Still I saw no one, but the voice continued. I realized that the voice was inside me. The Lord said, "I am inside you and you are in my heart" John14:20 says,"On that day you will realize that I am in my father, and you are in me and I am in you". Everything he was saying caused me to see them. He said, "I send you to save, heal and deliver my people" He spoke from 12 o'clock midnight until 6am. I heard that audible voice for 30 days. After 30 days, that voice became a tiny voice that is still there to this day. By the grace of God Almighty he planted his first church on 1 February 1999, Harvest Time Church. In 14 years he planted 7 successful churches. He also oversee other independent ministries.

Bible Quote of the month

"As Jacob started on his way again, angels of God came to meet him. When Jacob saw them, he exclaimed, "This is God's camp!" So he named the place Mahanaim. Then Jacob sent messengers ahead to his bother, Esau, who was living in the region of Seir in the land of Edom. He told them, "Give this message to my master Esau: 'Humble greetings from your servant Jacob. Until now I have been living with uncle Laban, and now I own cattle, donkeys, flocks of sheep, and goats and many servants, both men and women. I have sent hese messengers to inform my lord of my coming, hoping that you will be friendly to me.'" After delivering the message, the messengers returned to Jacob and reported, "We met your brother, Esau, and he is already on his way to meet you - with an army of 400 men!" Jacob was terified at the news. He divided his household, along with the flocks and herds and camels, into two groups. He thought, if Esau meets one group and attacks it, perhaps the other group can escape."

Theme: Blessings

We are at the 2nd half of the year where we need blessings. We call this the grace to finish what we have started. All the things blocking our way to finish shall be removed. Every promise hanging upon our lives shall come to pass. It's coming to perfection.

A blessing can change your death date. Whatever God approves is final. God allows the situation to be worse before He helps you.

Prayer: "Lord, change my name from poverty to blessing in Jesus Christ's name." Do NOT give up! See God in every situation that you face; with all that you have, see God.
